Established in 1987 in the city of Mountain View, it opened the doors as the Tied House Cafe & Brewery in January of 1988 as one of the first few Brewpubs in the Bay Area. We are now in our 15th year of operation. The tradition of producing premium award winning beers continues. The Tied House brews have received multiple awards for the beers including 13 GABF Medals, and numerous awards at the California State Fair Commercial Beer Competition. The Tied House was awarded Best of Show at the State Fair for the Oatmeal Stout in 1997.

We offer 8 beers on tap with over 12 seasonal and specialty beers to accompany an extensive menu ranging from seafood to house-smoked BBQ Ribs, our own homemade sausages, burgers, pastas and salads, as well as a long list of appetizer favorites.

Join the Clubhouse! Maybe not everybody knows your name -- but with the Tied House Club House, our frequent dining club, we soon will. As a member, you will have your own Beer Stein (6 ounces bigger than non-members for the same price) and you will earn points for every dollar you spend at the Tied House.
